Audio-Technica ATR-35S Omnidirectional lavalier microphone

I have one of these and it is a great little lavalier microphone. Here is some info:

High-quality condenser in a miniature lavalier microphone. Ideal for aerobics/dance/sports instructors. Great for video use, this "newscaster-style" microphone is practically invisible. Integrated 20' cable terminated with a 3.5 mm mini-plug for use with most cameras and home recording systems. On/off switch for convenient operation. Includes tie clip, battery, foam windscreen, and 1/4" adapter.

Abes of Maine has them for $21.99! Much cheaper than I paid for mine. With the 3.5mm plug you can easily jack it into your camcorder or computer.

This microphone has a very clear sound for home or prosumer recording. Plus the cable is plenty long to reach from the camera to your talent. No more fighting for clear sound from your camcorder microphone, get clear audio even in noisy conditions.

If you have a stereo input to your camcorder you may need a stereo to mono adapter. I grabbed one from Radio Shack for a couple of bucks. The foam windscreen is not secure on the little mic, you may need to use some tape to help it grip the microphone casing.
Other than that I can't find any issues with this unit.

Here is a guy on Utube showing off the ATR-35S:

I think you will find this a good investment. 20 bucks & shipping for better audio? You can't beat that. :-)
Have fun and go shoot something!

Better audio is always worth it! I've got a Radio Shack lav that looks identical to the AT model shown, probably is. I've had it for about 10 years and it's never failed me.
